The Center for Integrated Spatial Research (CISR) website got an updated look and feel when Lauren Owen migrated it over to WordPress. She redesigned the home page to encompass the most common goals of the users and the CISR staff. While many changes were made, it was not a complete redesign and overhaul as the CISR team wanted to keep many of the items the same. In addition to the many changes, it moved from spatialresearch.cisr.ucsc.edu to spatialresearch.ucsc.edu because there is no main page at cisr.ucsc.edu, so Lauren made the suggestion that the URL structure be changed as well for search optimization and ease for users.
